Deep Space: The Freestyle Frontier

The latest release from the Benson Kites workshop is the Deep Space. It is an all-round freestyle kite that is precise, reliable and responsive, making it easy to fly and accessible to all. However, it is also capable of the most extreme tricks, again behaving with a high degree of accuracy and predictability, making tricks easier to nail, and more reliably repeatable. The feeling is sharp, and crisp but not harsh. Like all Benson kites, the Deep Space excels at free-flowing flying, providing smooth transitions into, out of, and between tricks for advanced and extended combination and seamless freestyle flying.

Quad Line Freestyle

The Airbow is a quad-line freestyle kite, that combines the carving turns and trick capabilities of dual line kites with the precise handling and total control of traditional quad line flying. The unique 3D shape is symmetrical both left-to-right and top-to-bottom, giving the kite equal stability in powered flight in all directions and unprecedented recoverability from slack line trick and freestyle flying.

Gemini: The Twins

The Gemini is the now-legendary freestyle/trick kite with the unique twin spine configuration. Known for its smooth, and laid-back approach to freestyle flying, the Gemini has proved itself as one of the classic sport kites of all time. The Gemini Ultralight, and the Gemini's smaller brother, the Minigem are also available.

Old School Favourites

A limited number of classic Benson Kites are still available to special order. The Outer Space remains a popular choice for the discerning leisure flying who is looking for reliable all-round performance and basic to intermediate trick performance. The Inner Space, as the name suggests, is our indoor and very light wind kite. Designed for absolute zero wind conditions, the Inner Space is lightweight and perfectly balanced for smooth, gliding flat and clean axels, flat spins and other indoor tricks. The Box of Tricks is the defitive "Old School" trick kite that dominated the early trick and freestyle scene of the 1990's, particularly here in the UK. And last, but by no means least, the Phantom is Tim Benson's legendary sport kite, designed for leisure, competitive, and freestyle flying.
